The kids had fun playing on the slip-n-slide yesterday. It was a refreshing activity for such a hot Saturday afternoon. John even joined in. It was a good physics lesson emphasizing that the greater your mass, the longer you will slide.
Here was the next lesson learned.
We had no idea that a slip-n-slide could cause so much damage. Our next lesson will have to be on lawn restoration. We'll have to get a guest lecturer. Any volunteers?
Chris: What's that white stuff, Dad? Dad: Sauerkraut. Chris (puzzled): So it's sour and it's crap? (Wondering why Dad is eating it.) (Mom's trying not to laugh.) Dad: What?! Chris: Well you said it's Sourcrap. (Now Mom is trying to catch her breath from laughing so hard.) Mom: No, Sauerkraut. (Thinking, Yes Chris you got it right the first time.)
