Our family grew today. Jazzmine (Jazz) joined our family today from the Humane Society of Utah. She is a spayed Patterdale Terrier mix and is estimated at about 5 years old and weighs 24 pounds. She has only barked once all day, is already house broken and is pretty obedient. We're working on learning each other's cues. She's still a little nervous in her new home, but we think once the kids settle down, she will too. John and I surprised the kids. We told them we needed to run an errand and then we came home with her. It took them a while to believe that she was ours and we were keeping her. Welcome home Jazzmine!

My heart was softened by the Christmas spirit. I'm paying for it too. Guess who gets to get up with her early in the morning to let her out?
Cute name! The love the dog gives is worth the trouble, but I'm still in shock that you agreed to a dog.

Get a doggy door! It's been a long time getting here, but the pooch will give credible testimony at the Final Judgment if you do right by her. Be sure to bring her with you next time you come by. We can baby sit her while you all do the turistaville stuff...
